I specialize in working with BIPOC teens and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, cultural/racial identity, grief and loss, self-esteem, depression, stress and family/relationship conflict.

I believe in and have seen the human ability to adapt and change with the right support. My style is warm, laid-back, with sprinkles of humour and directness as needed. Clinically, I use a holistic approach and together we will explore how your environment, upbringing, and experiences have impacted where you are today. My primary therapy modalities are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and strengths-based therapy.

Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work, I have spent the past 9+ years working in mental health and advocacy, particularly with the BIPOC community. Stephanie Wong (she/her) is a second-generation Chinese-Canadian woman, Registered Social Worker, and Educator who is invested in understanding mental health using a relational, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens.
